It’s not been photo shopped, it’s real

I love a good animal postcard as much as the next woman, the cuddlier the better in my book. So I have to resist the temptation to just keeping finding cuter and cuter pictures of animals.

Wonderful World, our range of landscape postcards have always been one of your favourites. We updated the images to include one that always amazes me – Rainbow Mountain.

This might look like it’s been photo shopped but it’s real. The mountains proper name is Vinicunca or Montaña de Siete Colores and it’s in the Andes of Peru. Until 2015 you couldn’t see them, they wee hidden under thick layers of snow, these have gradually melted away leaving the mountains exposed for the first time. The stripes come from the soil/rock, the seven colours are due to the mineralogical composition of the mountain.

I also love the colours that the two scenic beach postcards. I’ve struggled to decide which I like most, I still can’t decide if a have a favourite or not.

In fact, even though there’s not a beautiful animal in sight (well actually there is, but picture isn’t really about the animal, it’s hard to explain, but you’ll understand when you see it), I have to say I really love this collection.

And it’s not just landscapes, there’s an elegant flower over water, a rainbow and cherry blossom. If you are looking for a set of scenic postcards that people will love receiving then these are the cards for you, click here to see them all.

Enjoy your weekend and I’ll be back next week with another competition.

Kind regards

Lizzie
