A majestic oak tree, spreading it branches to shimmer in the water below opens this range. Then we have a delicate sprig of cherry blossom, almost touching water that reflects its own image back with the slightest of ripples.
A jewel-like deep purple butterfly lands on a hazy blue flower to drink nectar is the next in the range. This is our favourite with the strong, vibrant blues so accurately captured. Next we have a home-made cup cake with a flickering candle, a perfect way to say happy birthday to a loved one without spending several pounds on a greeting card.
The ladybird image is a triumph of timing. Then there is a leaf, bowed by the weight of a ladybird until it almost touching the water. The reflections in the pool and the contrast between green and red really sets this image off.
A jug of water holding two stems of a lily-of-the-valley against the sky and clouds reflected on the table’s surface epitomises charm of this range of postcards. Lots of icy whites and cool blues make this a fresh, beautiful picture.
