Did you know its Random Acts of Kindness Day today? I’d never heard of it but the paper I saw it in said what a reaction they had after a couple of their journalists carried out several ‘acts of kindness’.
Amongst other things, they gave someone a hug, bought a coffee for the person behind them in a queue and bought an older lady a box of chocolates. The reaction they got was wonderful with comments like –
“It is lovely that there has been thought for another human” and “There is no limit to the amount of kindness you can show”.
Take the time to spread some joy today and send someone a postcard, we know how uplifting getting a card is. And as our contribution we have picked another six entries from our last two comps and have sent them an extra pack of postcards each.
Linda Tugwell, Sue James and Mrs P Attaway, there are packs of Spring Flowers on the way to you; and Judith Jones, Paul Foster and Laura Jenkins look out for packs of At Liberty postcards dropping on your doormat.
I’m sorry we can’t send everyone who enters our competitions a prize but for today only you can get a massive 30% discount on our range of Bright & Beautiful postcards, guaranteed (almost) to bring a simile to anyone who receives one of them!
The discount will close at midnight, make sure you don’t miss out. And if you get the chance make someone smile with a Random Act of Kindness.
